SSC MTS
SSC MTS is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for selecting candidates in General Central Service Group C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various departments and offices of the Government of India.
MTS is MultiTasking Staff is being conducted by SSC for recruit in various posts such as:
- Havaldar
- Peon
- Daftary
- Mali etc
SSC conducts MTS every year in three different stages-
1. Paper 1
2. PET/ PST ( only for the post of Havaldar)
~ application fee for SSC MTS is ₹100/. The fee is exempted for women, candidates belonging to SC, ST, physically disabled people, ex-servicemen, etc.
~ Educational Qualification for SSC MTS:
A candidate is required to pass matriculation or the 10th pass from any recognized board or equivalent examination.
~ Age limit for SSC MTS –
Candidate must be between the age of 18-25 years.
Age relaxation is given to reserved categories as per government rule.
~ Citizenship criteria for SSC MTS:
- A candidate must be:
- A citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee
~ Exam Pattern for SSC MTS exam-
The exam for MTS is conducted in two different stages, where Paper 1 is an online exam that contains objective multiple-type questions type.
